Terms of Service

1. Overview
These terms govern all design work carried out by Paul Odebunmi (trading as a freelance designer) for clients. By commissioning work, you agree to these terms.

2. Services
I offer website design and development services, including but not limited to: Framer and Webflow development, website redesigns, landing pages, UX/UI design, and Figma-to-Framer/Webflow builds. All projects are scoped and quoted individually before work begins.

3. Project Process
Each project begins with a discovery call and written brief agreement. Work starts once a deposit is received and all required materials have been provided by the client.

4. Payment
A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due before final files are delivered. For smaller projects, full payment upfront may be required — this will be agreed before the project starts. Late payments may delay delivery.

5. Revisions
Every project includes a defined number of revision rounds, agreed at the scoping stage. Revisions are changes within the original brief. New directions or significant scope changes are treated as separate requests and quoted accordingly.

6. Timelines
Project timelines are agreed before work begins. Delays caused by late client feedback, missing materials, or scope changes may extend the timeline. I will communicate any changes to the schedule promptly.

7. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate briefs, brand materials, and content in a timely manner. Delays on your end may affect delivery dates. You are also responsible for obtaining any necessary licences for fonts, images, or third-party assets used in the project.

8. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, you own all final delivered files. I retain the right to show completed work in my portfolio and use it for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Preliminary concepts not selected remain my property.

9. Confidentiality
I treat all client information, project details, and business materials as confidential and will not share them with third parties without your consent.

10. Post-Launch Support
Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support for bug fixes and minor adjustments. This does not cover new features, redesigns, or content changes, which will be quoted separately.

11. Termination
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, a kill fee applies. The kill fee is 25% of the total project fee, plus payment for all work completed to date. Deposits are non-refundable once work has started.

12. Limitation of Liability
My liability is limited to the fees paid for the project. I am not responsible for any indirect losses, including lost revenue or business opportunities, arising from the use of delivered work.

13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
